Summer Walks in Llandudno
Llandudno is a walker's paradise. These four favourites all start within minutes of the hotel:
• The Great Orme Summit. Climb the headland for sweeping views of the Irish Sea and Eryri. Look out for the famous Kashmiri goats. Tired legs can ride back down on the vintage tramway or cable cars.
• Marine Drive. A four-mile loop around the base of the Great Orme. It hugs the cliff edge, passes the lighthouse, and stays mostly flat. Ideal for a relaxed morning.
• West Shore to Conwy Estuary. Llandudno's quieter beach. Golden sands, estuary views and some of the best sunsets in Wales.
• The Promenade and Pier. Sometimes the simplest walk is the best. Follow the sweeping seafront to the longest pier in Wales. Ice cream in hand, of course.
